While walking the cliffs of Santa Cruz with Michael Keer and our spouses, I took a moment to reflect on a meaningful milestone: one year consulting with Product Realization Group. It’s been a rewarding journey supporting New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts across industries. Helping teams embed quality and reliability from the start.
5 Key Insights from the Field:
- Define product requirements early
- Begin reliability testing as soon as prototypes are available
- Use FMEA and failure analysis to mitigate risk
- Develop product test strategies during the design phase
- Empower teams through training and knowledge transfer
I’ve seen firsthand how early reliability work drives long-term success from my experiences across semiconductors, robotics, automotive, and consumer tech. I also enjoy helping clients build internal test capabilities, connect with external labs, and grow their in-house expertise.
